Winter has more than a dozen arrangements for bagpipes and organ which can be played in a traditional church service or a Kirking of the Tartans service. She plays several different traditional Scottish pipes in addition to the Great Highland Bagpipe. Other pipes are much quieter, providing a different sound for a service.

Winter performs Bagpipes at Churches in AtlantaShe has played "Marching to Zion" with a church orchestra (Baptist Church) and frequently performs "Highland Cathedral" with organ accompaniment. Winter has performed “It’s Not My Will” from “The Rock and The Rabbi”  in several local productions as well as with the original cast’s performances here in Atlanta during their tour.

One Palm Sunday, Winter led a procession of church members thru city streets to the church and into the sanctuary for the service.

The most common use of pipes in a church service is for a kirking. Winter has been playing annually for some churches for as more than 12 years.
